MODI Building (9)

​Next is the Onitsuka Tiger store. The interior is fitted with a few 3d-printed shoe cabinets and a couple of seats, but first I pasted on the walls some photos taken in an actual shop.

It was very crowded the day I took this photo of the counter (left below) and due to space constraints I could not take a front view shot of the counter. I uploaded the photo to Google Gemini and submitted the following prompt:
Gemini prompt: “modify the image to show a front view of the counter”

The result is on the right. It’s a bit not straight (I corrected that in Affinity Photo), but the perspective is gone. Brilliant! That’s the photo I pasted at the back of the shop. (Here with faces blurred).

​Then I assembled the entrance logo and shelter. I made a first version that I painted glossy black, then tried to paint the from of the letters in white. That didn't work well, I could not get precise, sharp letters. So I decided to 3D-print each letter individually, paint them white and glue them to the supports. That was of course much more work but I like the result. I even managed to fit an LED strip under the shelter.

The people are from TTC (Takeda Mokei) Tkd1558 55-0010, now available everywhere, and from Kato 24-251A. I really like these new 3D-printed full color figures!

These are some photos of the final result, after putting back the six displays of the lobby arches and the main facade display.
